2005 Sebring-Centre Shift Console

Hi everyone:

We bought this sedan used a few months ago, mainly because it only had 20,000 KM on it and looked like brand new. So far, no problems at all. I have one question though, which I can't seem to track down. Hopefully someone who has one of these will know!

It has a stick shift in the centre console. The letter indicator lights for P,D,1,2,3 etc. are on the front dash. There are round buttons with P, D, etc. along side the stick itself on the console. Do these light up at all? In this vehicle they don't. It would be nice if they did, as the display on the dash always seems to be obscured by the steering wheel.

Thanks for your help in advance.
