can i get to the oil tranfer case?

I Need a second opinion on this.........
I'm going to replace the upper and lower control arm bushings on my 00 firebird 5spd. Coupe. My question is, can I get to the oil pan in order the replace the gasket on that since I'm taking the control arms off or do I have to pull the whole motor?
