I got a 2.5 liter chevy s10 5 speed manual 2 wheel drive. I need to knew whats the timing suppose to be. I got a timing light but can't seem to find a guilde telling me whats the timing suppose to be or even how its suppose to be timed.

8 degrees before TDC with pin A & B jumped on diagnostic connector.
And average 1 & 4 cylinders.
