4 cyl accordlordvektra 04-09-2003, 03:43 PM Im thinking about giving up my teg and getting a accord, but I want a stick. how are the 4cyl stick accords over the v-6 autos? strodda 04-09-2003, 03:50 PM check this out http://juvination.virtualave.net/accordspec.html . im not sure how accurate that site is, but the v6 a/t is alot faster. but you could always get a cheap 4th gen and swap in a new motor. KrNxRaCer00 04-09-2003, 09:25 PM nonono...i used to own a 94 accord 5sp, an after that, changing to my teg. i'd NEVER go back. thas jus my personal preference, but i jus don't think the two cars compare unless ur tryin to settle down more an have a family car. DemonicAccord 04-10-2003, 12:02 PM small, very small aftermarket for the V6 accords, get a 5sp stick, far more options available to you for customizing and an H w/ i/h/e well tuned is a beautiful (and far more fuel efficient thing) notto mention, more horsess. hicdragon_returns 04-25-2003, 05:45 PM I haver a 98 Accord 4dr 4cyl with a 5-speed and I have beat lots of V6 accords. The stats that strodda links to are from car manufacturers doing soft launches. If you don't mind launching your car at like 3000-3500 rpm you should have no problem dusting a V6 accord. I have even dusted some V6 mustangs and camaros with my stock four banger. It really comes down to how hard you want to drive your car and what you want to get out of it. Are you serious??? knorsk 04-26-2003, 01:05 AM From 1994-1997 the Honda Accord V6 was actually slower than the four cylinder by a smudge. Yes they have power...but go to some sites and check out the curb weight and compare how much extra weight you are towing around with that pos V6. I don't know about the other years. I know top speed is higher on the V6 but I don't know how often you drive 120...if you do daily come up to Pennsylvania cause my friend and I are the only people I know that fly...everyone else are little bitches and racing isn't big up here. loesch8102 04-26-2003, 01:19 AM I'm not too sure about that site strodda posted. Most of the stats look correct, but those Top Speeds are rediculous. A 4cyl Accord never saw 147mph. The gauge doesn't even go up to 147! I agree with Knorsk. They do weight a lot more. I'd say a 4cyl would be more fun. Good luck trying to find a manual though. knorsk 04-26-2003, 01:50 AM Yeah 147...maybe if it's falling...through a vacuum. 93accordEX 04-26-2003, 06:14 PM Originally posted by knorsk I know top speed is higher on the V6 but I don't know how often you drive 120...if you do daily come up to Pennsylvania cause my friend and I are the only people I know that fly...everyone else are little bitches or maybe they are just smart  strodda 04-27-2003, 12:32 AM Originally posted by loesch8102 I'm not too sure about that site strodda posted. Still not sure where the limiter kicks in at. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
