'02 Focus LX Gear Shifter

My gear shifter fell off. That's right it came completely off! I have the replacement part and trying to figure out how to get it on. Any ideas? Is there a diagram of something. Would love to drive my car again properly without the use of screwdrivers.

should just slide on and either have a pin or a screw to hold it on but I never took one off of a focus
