Whats up guys? need a little advice here. I have a 1994 mitsubishi 3000gt that isn't sparking from all coils . Let me start from the beginning. The car was running fine for the first several months I owned it. then one day, going down the interstate, it died. No spit no sputter....just died. Now it will not start, and only fires from coil 1 . And there isn't a lot of fire from it, but it sparks weakly. when moving the coils it will spark from which ever coil i put into number 1 position, thereby ruling out coils. i have replaced the fuel pump, ignition control module, and ecm. i did notice a few blown caps on my old ecm, but none of the components have changed my problem. Only thing i can think of thats left is the cam shaft sensor and crank sensor. Is there a way to test these components? Any advice would be appreciated...

Possibly the PTU, small sensor right under the coils with 2 plugs on it, and are you sure the other ecm is good? You also need to check and see if you are getting fuel during cranking or not.

ptu is the same thing as the ignition control module, and it has already been changed to no resolve, and the new ecu is working fine...timing seems to be fine, so i'm still leaning towards cam shaft sensor or crank sensor, but not sure because the one coil still sparks a little ...
