I am working on an 84 745i euro that I can only get to turn over, but will not start. It has been sitting for about 5 years without running. I know I am looking at an spark or fuel problem. I spray starting fluid into the throttle body still with no results which leads me to believe that this is a spark problem. I am not familiar with the ignition system in this car. It looks like the distributor is going to be a real headache to even get the cap off. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
