This is a Lindberg Impala kit. I painted it with a Testors silver for the base coat, followed by a gloss red, and followed by Testors Transparent Hot Rod red. This was not clear coated. All I did was give it a wetsand, followed by polishing and buffing. The interior has been painted with flat red, flocked carpet, and seatbelts have been added. I will get some pics of the interior later on. Thank you for looking.

I want that as 1:1

Silly question: Why the silver base coat instead of a matt red?

I used silver as a base coat to make the red stand out a little better. I usually use a white base coat but didnt have any on hand.
