I had inoperative windows on my 2004 Chevy venture. With some investigation I found that the little gray wire into the driver side window switch harness is broken right at the connector. My question is can any one tell me how to release the connector pin in the wiring harness without damaging it. Usually there is some type of retaine that keeps it form coming out of the harness but was unable to see it or determine where it was.

Don;t want to jerk it out of the socket and ruin it. Trying to use a little finesse in now.

Thanks for any help...links....diagrams...descriptions...etc.

Once you pry the switch assembly up and out of the door armrest, you should easily see the plastic locking clips on both sides.
