1994 4Runner Won't Start ColdTroubleWithCar 11-05-2009, 03:29 PM My 94 Toyota 4 Runner does not start.3 weeks ago it stopped working, would not start in the morning but would start later in the day. we took it to garage and they told us that Alternator and batt. are good. as per mechanics advice we replace wall cover gasket, wires, distributor, distributor cap, coil, igniter, coolant sensor and some belts. Still won't start now it does not start at all. Brian R. 11-07-2009, 07:51 PM Check the circuit and injector for the cold-start injector system. 4Wheel 11-24-2009, 04:33 AM Almost all cold start issues are simply the spark plug gap is too wide. I noticed you didn't mention plugs in your list of secondary ignition components. Check the gap. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
