the drive shaft turns in every gear and all foward {is on 4 jack stands
]and the eng light comes on ,not blinking stays solid ,
the 4x4 will not engage{slips out ,

i am puzzled no answer in the chilton { no code reader either:banghead:} the fluid is up to level and the color is good and no smell .any ideas?:uhoh:

If in 4W the front drive shaft is locking in?
Then check actuator on front axel for locking in front axel.
Most are vacumn and cabel operated.
Down in S-10 forum there should be a how to on it.
