1970 in Daytona 24h race happened something remarkable in Finnish racing history, it was the first time that finnish driver wins proffessional race. In winning car number 2 had two driver, mexican Pedro Rodriguez and finnish Leo Kinnunen.
I built this car to look like it has 24h of racing behind. This is Fujimi 1971 Daytona winner kit and i did some modifications to it, biggest was engine and exhaust modifications.

This was the first time that i did not buy any book for information and same time the last. It is real hard to find a good photos with right information, that´s why i make some mistakes in building this car.

It didn´t, sorry my mistake! Correct maker is Fujimi.

I weather also my own cars most of the time.

There is a simple reason, there wasn´t outside mirrors in these cars. Only mirror was in the cocpit. Later came periscope mirror on the roof.
