Smitty's Buick

I have seen many posts dealing with the Park Avenue's Climate Control and various problems associated with it. The following post helped me with my '96 to an extent:

I went through the test as outlined by HotZ28 but did not resolve the problem. I would like to know how to proceed beyond this test. My system did just as expected, but when I shut off the car and restarted it, the system went back to its evil ways. What is the problem? Do I need to try some more things to get the system working properly? :screwy:

The system also will not blow out the vents any more. I played with the vacuum connector behind the glove box and it worked for a short time. I think I need to mess with that again.

Right now I have the rod on the blend door unhooked so that the car blows hot all the time. Helps in November. :iceslolan

Any further words of advice? Thanks!
