When you look at the used car prices for an '08 Avenger with low miles, they are a compelling buy - around $10-12K for an SXT with reasonably low miles (30-50K), are these cars any good? Anybody driven one with the 2.7 (SXT) or the 3.5 (R/T)? One of my friends has an '08 Caliber and it feels pretty cheap...don't know if this is the same story.

I'm a Dodge guy my self but the Avenger and the Caliber are crap. I'd say look away from it.

I thought you were a BMW guy??? :runaround: Challenger SRT8 is nice, but unfortunately that's not in the cards right now...I'm wondering about longevity and reliability - I know they feel flimsy and the plastic is the same stuff as a Chinese watergun, but if it holds up, I won't complain. Canadian winters eat cars anyways, if you can find something that lasts 10 years around here that's a damn good car.
