I checked the break pedal switch and it's good .I get the impression that because of the behavior before quitting that it could be a ground. Please advise.thanks imidazol97 10-27-2009, 10:53 AM Hi there, 93 park avenue...cruise worked intermittently for a while then nothing....I installed a new column lever ..no difference so I returned it..WHERE IS THE control MODULE? I checked the break pedal switch and it's good .I get the impression that because of the behavior before quitting that it could be a ground. Please advise.thanks Are there more than one circuit through the brake switch for the cruise? Are you sure you checked the right one? It seems to me there is something that's easily overlooked there. I had a 93 leSabre where the cruise went out and the dealer replaced the unit and it worked. I assume they checked the brake switch. And then within days the new one quit working. And it turned out there was a circuit in the brake switch they didn't check. Bassasasin 10-29-2009, 12:05 PM I battled a "no cruise" for quite a while. On my car it would work, indicate cruise and then wink out and quit and eventually just nothing. The fix was a PCM module from "the yard". vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
