Throttle control unable to control the desired control angle! :runaround:
Himm....
VSS - Vehical Speed Sensor.
APPS - Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor.
The electronic control module on the Throttle body.
The powertrain control unit (PCU) wants to see some signals.
Engine running. (A few sensors for feedback signals)
Throttle pos sensor.
Accelerator Pedal pos sensor.
MAF signal (measuring device)
IACT signal (measuring device)
The PCU needs tobe able to Control both, the Air & Fuel toget 400HP.
How about a throttle plate control!
Caution-
A bad throttle body cleaning could damage, the control module calibration.
On a Drive- by- wire system, with the ignition on, Engine Not running, have an assistant push the APPS (Gas pedal) down while cleaning the throttle plate.
Bingo!
A new Throttle body for $1800, Remanufactured Throttle body is around $400, and a Ebay special for around $200.
WOW! Replaced the throttle body twice!
