When my timing belt failed, it was due to the bottom pulley failing. When the car was repaired, the new belt was used. Now can I reuse the old belt as it only had about about 7000km on it when it was changed. The belt is in excellent shape but the direction of rotation was not marked on it. be used again or should a new one Can this belt be purchased?

Thanks in advance

If the belt isn't installed with the same direction of rotation, it can fail prematurely.

for the relatively cheap cost of a belt, always replace it if you have to screw with the timing.
