Ferrari 612indecentkikogt 10-24-2009, 11:56 PM Ok first off this has been a WIP for years now. Ive been unable to complete or work on it. But finally i can now. Now i need some advice (on wheels) let me know what looks better, and no the wing is not going on =) Stock wheels http://i1001.photobucket.com/albums/af137/4refig/Ferrari612002.jpg http://i1001.photobucket.com/albums/af137/4refig/Ferrari612003.jpg Volk CE28s http://i1001.photobucket.com/albums/af137/4refig/Ferrari612005.jpg Stock Enzo wheels http://i1001.photobucket.com/albums/af137/4refig/Ferrari612006.jpg Volk TE37s http://i1001.photobucket.com/albums/af137/4refig/Ferrari612007.jpg Stock Nismo Z-Tune http://i1001.photobucket.com/albums/af137/4refig/Ferrari612008.jpg http://i1001.photobucket.com/albums/af137/4refig/Ferrari612009.jpg Decisions, decisions http://i1001.photobucket.com/albums/af137/4refig/Ferrari612010.jpg tuned.by.twenty 10-25-2009, 12:13 AM The CE28Ns are a nice upgrade, they work rather well in my opinion. star21 10-25-2009, 12:35 AM the CE28N's are quite a nice combo. either that or the split 5-spoke (is that from a ferrari?). the 4th one in the last picture. janositamas 10-25-2009, 02:14 AM I like the CE28's underneath, they look really cool but I don't really like the others underneath a Ferrari, especially a 6 spoke rim. Please don't put that wing on it, IMO it doesn't suit the car. The body color looks fantastic though! klutz_100 10-25-2009, 02:45 AM If I may offer some well meant constructive criticism. Seems to me that you haven't sanded off the mold lines on this kit. These will diminish the quality of your final build IMHO http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y247/klutz100/Ferrari612002.jpg If you are going to put time, effort and presumably money in modifying a model, it would make sense next time to spend some more effort on more basic and elementary things such as proper preparation of the body. As for the wheels, I prefer the Volk CE28s :) godfather23 10-25-2009, 04:18 AM If I may offer some well meant constructive criticism. Itīs interesting how you find these things. Actually itīs unbelievable. Seriously - I thank you for all the members for you hawk eye! As for the wheels - Iīd go with the box stock wheels. Pininfarina and Ferrari put some thought in choosing these. I see no point in taking something apart that only works as art in combination. Robert Robert KevHw 10-25-2009, 11:52 AM CE28's work best in my opinion. I like the colour you're going for. Also, good eye klutz! ales 10-25-2009, 12:53 PM Factory stock wheels are the best IMO. gtziaf 10-25-2009, 03:25 PM The factory wheels are the best, aren 't they... Please don't use the spoiler. I follow the wip closely... Good luck... MidMazar 10-25-2009, 07:09 PM I was going to mention that you forgot the mold line, but klutz beat me to it. I would go with the ce28s or stockies. Good luck. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
