2004 Explorer horn goes off when key removedbcurran75 10-24-2009, 08:31 PM I have a 2004 Explorer, when I stop the truck and remove the keys the horn goes off. When I put the key back in the horn stops. Any help would be great Thanks shorod 10-24-2009, 11:08 PM Does the horn stop as soon as you insert the key in to the ignition key cylinder switch, or do you have to turn it to ACC or Run to make the horn stop? -Rod bcurran75 10-26-2009, 07:00 AM As soon as you put the key in. I tried another key still happens, I also tried to disconnect the batttery for awhile still going off. I don't know what about putting the key in the key cylinder and not turning it would cause the horn to stop.... -Rod vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
