Raining in the cabdcalthetiger 10-23-2009, 10:02 AM I've noticed that my 99 silverado extended cab is wet under the floormats on both the passenger and the driver side. My truck sleeps outside but should never leak. I checked the third brake light and thought it may be coming from there. I put a little caulk around it just to try it and it still gets wet. I even changed the gasket around both doors. Could somone please help me as to where to look? j cAT 10-23-2009, 08:16 PM I've noticed that my 99 silverado extended cab is wet under the floormats on both the passenger and the driver side. Could somone please help me as to where to look? both sides wet means usually a poor windshield replacement ? use of the wrong sealants, and bead/rubber material or not replacing the entire sealing windshield componets...then you could have a defective windshield,,not made with the proper shape.. door gasket = leak on that side .. iroc343 10-24-2009, 06:51 AM I noticed the same thing on mine and I rtv'd the rubber plug on the floorboard (driver's side) cause it looked like water was coming in there. silverado122775 10-28-2009, 01:15 PM Have you checked your coolant? If your heater core is leaking you could have a mess on the floor. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
