95 k1500 305 problemsscottinachevy 10-21-2009, 06:06 PM It is sometimes hard to start to trunk in the begining of the day. When I try to start it the starter just rolls and it sounds like no gas getting to it. I have to pump the gas for a bit while trying to get it started. When I do get it started I got to hold down the gas or it will die, i just hold it down till it sounds normal. it idles high. if i come to a stop, i need to put it neutral and pump the gas because if i dont it will die when i hit the gas even if it is a little touch. need an idea where to start. Has good fluids and new air and fuel filters. I dont know where to go next. i pulled codes 32, 45, and 54 i that helps any i really need to get this fixed thanks jveik 10-22-2009, 11:52 PM get your fuel pressure and volume checked at a shop. it shouldnt cost too much and would show if you have a bad electric fuel pump. its a 95 so i assume it has an electric pump... also if it hasnt been done for a while, change your cap, rotor, plugs and wires if they are really beat up. mine was missing and it ended up being that one cylinder was burning a lot of oil and fouling the plug every couple weeks, so i just wait till it starts missing and take out that particular plug, wire brush it, and put it back in for another couple of weeks lol. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
