I have a 2003 alero 2.2 with 139K on it that has recently started to blow oil out of the dipstick. My first thought was a bad pcv valve but I cant find reference to one in the Chiltons. I recently replaced the small hose that runs from what I believe to be part of the air intake system to the engine because it had many cracks and was oil soaked. This hose is just a piece of hose that I cut to fit but it kinks and I believe my blow back is caused due the kink. I want to replace this hose with the correct one but I cant find reference to it any where. Can someone tell me what this hose does and what it is called? Long time reader, first time poster.
