1994 camaro z28usmc20 10-19-2009, 09:42 PM On average, in terms of miles, how long will a 1994 camaro z28 last? I know it all depends on how well a car is maintained, but can you give me a rough estimate? The car I am looking at buying is a 1994 camaro z28 with 75,000 miles on it. It has had one owner who is an older man that only drove it on the weekends and maintained it well. I am needing to know about how long it would last me because I would be driving from where I live now to my hometown (800 miles one way) at least once a year. What do you think? poormillionaire2 10-20-2009, 05:07 PM How long it lasts depends on how hard its been driven. Plus, the optispark is notorious for going out at inconvenient times. Some cars can last upwards of 200K miles while some need an overhaul before 100K miles. classic_327 11-11-2009, 12:55 AM thats like trying to guess how old you will live to be, you never know how long a car will last, i have a 96 i bought with 40k on it. i have thrashed that poor engine through 200k and just had my first major breakage. i have a friend who bought a new one, drove it nice and the motor blew at 60k. major f-body problems...rear wheel bearings,t-top leaks, intake gasket leaks, optispark problems, and other minor issues. in short, if you want a cool car that can shred the tires on command, buy it. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
