If you are deciding between AutoCheck and CarFax - READ THIS FIRST

On 10/16/09 I selected and checked the AutoCheck website listed bullet, which clearly states "Unlimited Vehicle History Reports for 60 Days - $29.99". I then paid $29.99 with my Amex card.
After I paid and then re-logged in I was immediately informed Autocheck will only work through EbayMotors. (At login it said "Our records indicate that you have purchased our reports from eBay Motors.").

But I did not purchase my Autocheck service through EbayMotors (or through Ebay). I went directly to www.autocheck.com (http://www.autocheck.com) and paid with my Amex there.

On login to www.autocheck.com (http://www.autocheck.com/) it actually it actaully then tells you to log in through www.ebaymotors (http://www.ebaymotors/). (That was not good for me since I wanted to check a VIN I got from Craiglist.):uhoh:

I asked AutoCheck to correct this, or to send my money back. They took 4 days to respond to my emails. Since Experian are selling this service online 24-7 they chould be able to respond to customer service 24-7 - but no - they took 4 days to correct it.:loser:

It took three days, but today I did get action from Autocheck.
I logged in again this morning and it now appears to be working without going through EbayMotors.
It would have been better if they could have responded over the weekend.
