My wife had the engine check light come on and she said it was smelling of asphault or burning rubber/tar. I checked it with OBDII and it gave me a number of P0725 = Engine speed input circuit malfunction. Does anyone know what that is about? It has been surging a lot also.

Well, according to some other sites, I believe that I need to replace my speed sensor. Hopefully that is all it is. Now to find out where that is located on my car and if I am able to do that myself?????

Does anyone know how easy that is to replace. I am glad it is only $30.00 for the part.
