I have a 1985 F150 v8 351 that makes a grinding noise before it starts. It will do that several times before it does start sometimes. Is this a starter problem? If so, where is the starter located. Thanks

sounds like the starter follow the positive battery cable (red in color) one end is at the battery and the other goes to the stater solenoid and then down to the starter
