Wut do i need for a scan tool for diesel engines...specificly the powerstroke...having trouble with a light a cant read the codes...my customer has an actron CP9175. is there a special adapter required for the deisels???:eek7:

it is a standard obd 2 plug in the scanner should have the program but what is the truck doing

Your vehicle still has the EEC IV system on it. Use the older scan tool.
