On my 2003 Montana with 92,000 miles, the top transmission line that goes into the radiator has recently started leaking. What is the best way to fix it?

Where is it leaking? If it's leaking in the middle of the line, the easiest fix is to cut the line where the leak is and splice in transmission hose with worm clamps. If it's leaking where it goes into the radiator, you will need a replacement clip; remove the line and see if it's damaged or corroded. If it can be cleaned up, reinstall with new clip. If it can't be cleaned up or is damaged, you'll have to replace the line or splice with a good end.

It could be the fitting in the radatior,has a fitting called a jiffy tite fitting and there is a special release tool out for these instead of doing the hard way,picking it out.You can get just the fitting from the dealer.If replacing the hose part,put a flare on the end of the metal lines so they do not blow out even with the clamp on.This is one mistake people do,not putting a flare on the end of the metal line and the hose blows off.A single flare with a flaring tool will do it
