I have a 2003 Chevrolet Taho Z71. The passenger side heated seat works just fine. But the drivers side heated seat will shut off after a few seconds. You can turn it on and the lights will come on and about 3-5 seconds later (if not sooner), the heated seats will automatically shut off. Any suggestions? Thanks! I need help with it ASAP!

Probably the sensor under the seat. Heard it is about $400.00 repair for the part. My buddy has a car lot also and had that problem with one of his.

the heater unit may be defective..open circuit after it heats up..
check with meter whats going on...control switch or wiring/connectors or heater unit in the seat..try swaping the seat heaters see what happens..use jumper wire to do this ..
