Intermittent Speedometer

I have a '95 Century. The VSS & connector & wiring are all OK.
If I disable the Cruise Control by disconnecting the (9 pin) harness, the speedometer will work perfectly but, the ABS becomes disabled. The brakes work but without the ABS feature. The ABS warning also shows up on the instrument panel as a steady icon, not flashing. I would like to keep the harness connected to the Cruise Control.
My question is: can I disable some of the wires in the (9 pin) harness that will allow me to retain the ABS feature & functioning speedometer and just disable the Cruise Control?
We do not use the Cruise Control.
I don't have a schematic so which color wires would be kept intact to have a functional ABS.

Does anyone have a schematic of the VSS and ABS wiring showing the (9 pin) connector that they could post on this forum?
