I replaced the ignition switch / dimmer switch assembly but did not remove the battery term. prior to starting the job and installed the switch and turn the key forward to start and have no diagnostic dash lights and the car will not crank
over. Did I mess up anything or am I overlooking something.......

Does the security light stay on more than 3-sec when you turn the ignition switch ON?
