ok here we go. i have a couple fusion powerplant (the old series) amps and i just bought a BRAND NEW fusion powerplant FP-LINK to mate 2 amps together to appear as one big amp. the link came new in a sealed package with hardware but no instructions. i cannot for the life of me figure this thing out, so i contacted fusion and even they dont know... so here's a picture of exactly what came with it.

so here's my beef. there is no screw holes in the link to mount the brackets. there is a "rail" that the screws could screw into but the bracket holes dont seem to line up. as detailed in this picture.

i thought that if i cut the brackets i could get them to mount to the link but at the same time i thought... why would i have to cut the brackets?? if that was true then they would have already came cut... so ok, i "could" make it work if i cut them but... that leaves me another dilemma, that would leave me no way to screw the link down. im hoping someone on here has actually installed one of these before and can help me out. one last thing. even itf i could mount one amp then the link that would only let me one side of the second amp because the link would give me no access to screw it down. here is a few more random pictures i took.

I would have to play with this in person but I am assuming the side with the 3 holes attaches to the mounting surface in the car set to the inside of the link and the other side attaches to either side of the link.

ok, ok. fusions installer finally got back to me. his words are there is no wrong way to do it, and its supposed to be for custom installations. a few other words i decoded from his thick spanish accent was there is no instructions and even he couldn't figure it out even know he had one sitting in front of him for 4 days.

and i dont understand what paulD said about this. the thing is, is that NOTHING lines up. none of the holes in the brackets come close to being able to be screwed into the link.

this picture clearly shows my problem. no holes line up. so next question... should i just grind the bracket down a little to make it work? in the picture depending on your monitor you can see a slight line rite above the two holes in the picture. if i ground this down to there i believe it will work. but then again even if i make this work that still leaves me the problem of mounting the amps to it.

I would be more inclined to drill holes in the bracket than the bridge part.
