i have a 2002 cavalier. it has had a bad tapping noise for some time now. just today though it developed a new noise. it is a kind of clanging noise. i thought it was an exhaust rattle at first. once i cheked though that possibility was eliminated. any ideas. it seems to be coming from either the pass side or possibly under the valve cover.
