Rear wiper won't shut offkidscatsdogs 10-06-2009, 02:44 PM 2001 dodge grand caravan rear wiper motor runs continuously and will not stop, even after we pulled the fuse. We'd just replaced the battery, but had used Coke to remove the corrosion to remove the old battery.:shakehead I think we got some in the computer as I also don't have interior lights except the dash and my gauges and locks also don't work. RIP 10-06-2009, 04:00 PM Go to the underhood fuse box and remove the IOD fuse for a few minutes. This will reset the Body Control Module (BCM). The BCM controls most of the electronics in the van. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is near the battery. The PCM is the engine's brain. The Forward Control Module is on the front of the fuse box (IPM). It controls lighting among many other things. Which did you spill coke on? kidscatsdogs 10-06-2009, 04:56 PM Thanks will try - just as soon as we find the IOD. Does it have another name? There's nothing listed by that name. RIP 10-06-2009, 09:55 PM IOD or Memory. On 3rd generation vans it's the fuse closest to the driver. May be the same on your 4th gen van. May have a plastic holder around it. Any idea which computer you doused? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
