So the other night I was headed to a friends house when I hopped onto the freeway only to be greeted with red lights. Apparently people like to drive slow at 10pm at night just cause.. So I'm chilling at about 40mph in the second to fast lane when a blue 04-05 WRX (fmic, exhaust was all i could see) in the fast lane starts giving me a bov salute. When I look over, he has the stone cold 'stare straight ahead cuz you're not cool' look and continues letting his bov echo. Then as traffic starts to slowly get back up to normal speeds, the WRX downshifts and continues serenading me with his bov. Next to us, the carpool lane changes into an anybody can drive lane so we both immediately hop over and get on it. I'm behind the WRX so I can't even give it full throttle as I'm not going to be an idiot and tailgate someone when accelerating hard. So I stay about 1.5 cars behind him continuously letting off to keep some distance in between us. I think the suby thought he was winning.. Anyways he ends up just swinging over all 4 lanes to exit like a mile later so nothing happened..
Later that night when I was driving local roads, a V6 camaro with exhaust was revving it up at a red light. Without even realizing it, I'm revving back only to be greeted with snickers and boo's as the 3.8Ls drone out the sound of my car. CRAP!! I forgot to open up the cutout.. mmm..zzzzZZZZZHHHBRUMBRUMBRUM! Thats better.. Throw a nice long rev which was topped off with a faint hint of a tial bov. The camaro rolls up its windows and makes an akward delibrate motion to get into the right turn lane.. AWW... that could of been really funny..

And last night after getting off work, I was headed to a friend's in Santa Monica when an accident was slowing everyone down at a freeway interchange. I end up behind a new V8 M3 as we pass and as everyone knows.. Freeway opens up.. So the M3 guns it and I just follow suit. The M3 ends up getting off the freeway like an exit later so I continue driving down the freeway getting ready for the next interchange. Now in LA yesterday, it was some nice cold dense air so I was boosting a little bit more than my usual. I'm slowing back down when some blue HIDS appear in my rear view and they're coming up fast. I hear a bov.. EVO..? A silver cockroach (by referring to a cockroach.. I mean no offense to those who own one of these..) blasts by and I can barely catch the silver mazda emblem as it quickly leaves me behind. I downshift into 4th and quickly stop his pull and start closing the gap. I give it full throttle at about 3.5k and have to let off because I already caught up. No open lanes so I just chilled behind him, letting him know that I was there and he would not be leaving me on his choice. Then my exit was coming up so I slowed down and went to my friend's house.
I'm sorry if its hard to read or make sense.. I just can't seem to translate the stories well into the mind of the readers.. Also wassup with cat and mouse games..? I don't like to chase people.. What happened to the good ol days when it would be side to side..? This new tandem style is not for me.. What happens when I get my new 'replacement stock' turbos in? Boost lag is going to be a little bit more of an issue than before.. Maybe I should throw on some neons and stickers with a huge wing so someone will try and teach me a lesson..?

What type of Mazda did you race? And good...keeping ups, lol. I hate that when you really think you have a good race but are just stuck in a situation that you can't get on it and see whats up. Woulda liked to see how it went with the E9x. Was it a coupe or sedan?

I think it was a Mazdaspeed 3. Kinda looks like a wagon style car..

The m3 was a coupe. I've been wanting to see what one can do but haven't really had the chance yet.. Since LA has a bunch of nice new cars, very rarely does one even notice me. Its usually the younger guys but I'm no longer as foolish as I once was.. That or someone who needs the occasional reality check. I actually had a stock evo roll up to me when I was exiting for work couple days ago and threw me a thumbs up. It was weird because I didn't see him the entire time til right before I exited. Also saw an attractive chick driving an NA 300zx z32 and she kept not looking over or roll down her window.. Whenever I sped up, she did. If I slowed down, so did she the same.. We stayed lane by lane for atleast 5 miles. I was always the gentleman and let her merge first if we ever needed too..
