I have a 94 jeep Grand Cherokee Lorado, 4.0 strait 6. I have been having this problem with it not starting right away. When I start it, it will crank and crank but will not start till I hear a click from the rear which i believe is the fuel pump. But from reading some of the forums I have also noticed that the check engine light will not come on till I hear the click. Then it fires right up. Is there any way you could help me with this problem.
Thank you so much,

I would buy a years subscription from http://www.alldata.com/ I think you have a loose ground wire and the click you hear is a relay. You can check all computer grounds you can find first. A good wiring diagram will tell were they are all located. Cost is appx. $29.95 for first vehicle and a discount on other vehicles. Many problems of this type are ground related.
