Anyone else agree? (In the wrong continent for this one :( ) mini magic 10-06-2009, 09:31 PM No go for me. 5 hour drive Peloton25 10-10-2009, 10:30 PM F1 was in the showroom roped off so most of the pics will look like the ones I found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/42639395@N03/sets/72157622556343076/ >8^) ER Peloton25 10-11-2009, 01:51 AM Additional pics here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/14635183@N06/sets/72157622434239419/ If you pay close attention, you'll notice this car has a 'McLaren F1' decal on the rocker panel ahead of the rear wheels like chassis #003. There were a couple of camera phone shots I posted (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=5995198&postcount=94) a while back in that area that had us wondering which car it was. In this set you'll see they opened it up for some people: http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/usa-northeast-forum/145050-pics-cars-coffee-f1-content-inside-56k-no-way.html#post1658640 I asked karc to try and get us a better shot of the chassis plate and perhaps the VIN plate in the engine compartment. Haven't seen him post his pics anywhere yet. >8^) ER hurstg01 10-11-2009, 03:34 AM  Peloton25 10-11-2009, 04:17 AM One more Flickr set: http://www.flickr.com/photos/25443085@N05/sets/72157622434559155/ Click this picture to see the hires version of this image: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2662/4000221508_c18ae665e1.jpg (http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2662/4000221508_9747ce7e54_o.jpg) Look closely in the area below the door hinge by the fender, just below the cable housing that comes out at the base of the a-pillar. There appears to be a small plaque mounted there that I don't recall seeing on any other F1s. I was thinking it is a remnant of the 'Ameritech F1' conversion - maybe an Amerispec VIN plate perhaps? I first spotted it in image from one of the other sets, but haven't been able to find any shots that give a better view of it yet besides this one. I looked for evidence of a similar plaque on shots of #045, #055, #062 and #067 I had showing that area and don't see one, so my Ameritech theory is probably wrong. Anyone else seen something like that there before? >8^) ER F1FREAKZILLA 10-11-2009, 05:44 AM what jay already has one http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/usa-northeast-forum/145050-pics-cars-coffee-f1-content-inside-56k-no-way.html#post1658640 "give me another 10 mins. and they'll all be up. The F1 is Herb's and he is not selling it. Supposeddly, Jay Leno came out for a ride and to look at the car and wanted to buy it from him but he refused." hurstg01 10-11-2009, 11:32 AM It's odd that the plaque Eriik refers to is on the top of the hinge housing - It looks like it should foul somewhere when the door closes. mini magic 10-15-2009, 11:30 AM Look closely in the area below the door hinge by the fender, just below the cable housing that comes out at the base of the a-pillar.
