Fujimi/Tamiya NSX-Rfastdupree 10-04-2009, 08:00 PM This is a car I always liked so I thought I build one. I am choosing to use part Tamiya & Fujimi kit. Hope it goes well. http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee34/fastdupree/DSC03769.jpg http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee34/fastdupree/NSXR2little.jpg http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee34/fastdupree/5Cars.jpg Some_Kid 10-06-2009, 08:44 PM Good luck. I had the fujimi nsx-r once, alot of inaccuracies. Good luck with it. MidMazar 10-06-2009, 08:53 PM Can you explain on what you plan on kitbashing? Old rear, new front? Any reference? I got the tamiya kit and it looks like a nice kit to build. Good luck! bullroad 10-07-2009, 04:14 AM hi, I have a question: the number code of tamiya kit NSX? there are different with the 24100 (red car on the box) tamiya kit? thanks. ciao. fastdupree 10-07-2009, 11:06 AM Hey guys, Thanks for the replies. I will post some pics soon. I am taking the Tamiya body and adding parts from the Fujimi kit to complete the car. Tamiya body is more to my liking. If all goes well, I will have a great outcome. http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee34/fastdupree/5Cars.jpg Jay! 10-07-2009, 12:56 PM hi, I have a question: the number code of tamiya kit NSX? there are different with the 24100 (red car on the box) tamiya kit? thanks. ciao. Tamiya 24100 and 24101 are the same kit. Seems that Honda/Acura asked them to release one with the Acura name for the US Market. Tamiya 24126 - NSX Type R is a distinct kit. fastdupree 10-07-2009, 05:09 PM There are 3 different Tamiya NSX kits. The Acura kit (I have), Red Nsx kit (R hand drive) and NSX Type-R kit. I don't know all kit numbers. I wish Tamiya made the new version of the NSX-R so I didn't have to build mines this way. http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee34/fastdupree/5Cars.jpg hirofkd 10-07-2009, 06:12 PM The "Honda" NSX kit has both LH and RH dashboard, as well as Acura decals. (I just checked.) My Acura NSX kit is packed away somewhere, but I'm sure the contents are the same. fastdupree 10-07-2009, 08:40 PM Here are some pics http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee34/fastdupree/N1.jpg The body parts were cut off of the Fujimi and put on the Tamiya. http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee34/fastdupree/N2.jpg I am letting it dry real good before any other alterations. http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee34/fastdupree/N3.jpg The Fujimi wheel are too small so I used the outer rims from a Skyline R34 Nismo kit. http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee34/fastdupree/N4.jpg The wheels color choice will be white like the picture. http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee34/fastdupree/5Cars.jpg bullroad 10-08-2009, 05:27 AM Tamiya 24100 and 24101 are the same kit. I do that also, but for mine, there are holes in the bottom for ties(to hold the car steady) so i just ran two parrallel brass rods the are bent outward to hold the body. Kinda vague, I know, just an idea for you to try. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
