Good day to you,
Its been awhile since I looked at this forum. I found a repair kit at a Canadian tire store. To date my tank hasn't leaked since. I bought another tank just in case. So far so good. This kit repairs plastic gas tanks, and plastic radiator tanks. it requires a bit of patience to use, just make sure that everything is very clean. But as I said it does work. Thanks for your time.

I don't trust any type of gas tank repair kits.
Smart move to buy a new tank. You may need to use it. Gasoline has a tendency to eat any type of epoxy or repair kits.
Good luck
