A restricted return line or bad regulator would cause high fuel pressure and more gas being fed into the engine, thus making it run rich. Also if the pressure checks out, check to make sure that either both or one of the two injectors are not leaking. Disconnect the two injectors and get someone to turn the key to the on position. As soon as the pump begins to prime if you see fuel leak past the injectors and into the throttle body, your injectors need attention. Give them a tap with a scredriver end, again if you see fuel, the injectors need attention. mr.gyro 10-01-2009, 04:04 PM i checked the injectors and they dont leak the fuel lines are good i checked them to and nothin has changed i can unplug my iac valve and my tp sensor and it still runs the same is that normal i replaced the computer and all the sensors the vacum lines and the fuel pump do you think if my altenator is going bad or my battery it could cause this blazes9395 10-08-2009, 09:43 PM Did you check the fuel pressure? If the alternator is not charging properly, it can cause erractic engine performance, so if you suspect your alternator is not working properly, get a voltmeter and check the voltage while the engine is idling and while you give it some gas. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
