MAF sensor problothar5150 09-29-2009, 12:56 PM I have a 1996 nissan hardbody 2x4 4 cylinder, It started flooding and bucking when I would give it gas. I had the codes checked. It gave a MAF sensor malfunction. I replaced with a new sensor, it made no difference it act the same as it did before. Before changing the sensor i put new plugs, wires and rotor button on it and had it timed at a local garage. Im going nuts Any ideas? lothar5150 10-05-2009, 11:00 AM Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: clay, West Virginia Posts: 3 http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/reputation/reputation_pos.gif MAF sensor prob I have a 1996 nissan hardbody 2x4 4 cylinder, It started flooding and bucking when I would give it gas. I may try and return the maf sensor perhaps I got a dud. Actually it seems I am starving for gas rather than flooding. It will build RPM's until a certain point(no tach) then just drift back to idle even if i hold the gas pedal to the floor. thanks Eric stamar 10-14-2009, 08:12 PM fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
