It could be that by holding the 'Unlock' button down during the procedure, overrides the need to jumper pins #4 & 8 on the ALDL terminal. It won't hurt to try it! Yeah, I tried the procedure from GM but it didnt work...Spent about 30 minutes trying over and over like a lunatic......Nada!
