The electric cooling fan on my '01 Cherokee never turns off. Cool motor or hot, the fan runs continuosly. Relay? Temp sensor? Where is the cooling fan relay located?

Look for an electrical box under the hood close to the drivers side fender.
Try swapping with another relay the same size. If this corrects the problem buy a new relay.
Look under the passenger side head light. If you search a picture is available.

Thanks!! The problem has gone from constant fan ON to fan NEVER comes on. I've checked the fan motor fuse it's OK. I'm pretty sure it's the relay.....just can't find it. There is no electrical box on the driver side. I moved both the evaporator cannister and the air cleaner (both on the drivers side fender) looking for the electical box or a relay. No luck. Any other suggestions?

I couldn't locate the thread...but somewhere in here there is a thread that not only tells you where the relay is, but also how to replace it. Check the "how to" subsection also.

Let us know if you can't find it....I didn't have much time to look just now.
