How do you remove it?

If it is like the one on my '96 3.3 liter V6 it is a bit of a PITA. There is a 15 MM nut on the back side of the tensioner (hidden of course) that has to come off and after that the tensioner just pulls out. I was able to get a ratcheting
15 MM box end wrench on the nut (from over the top) and loosen it and then remove it (I have the battle scars to prove it). Some have attacked it from the bottom with extensions and swivels. Search various dodge Forums for the procedure and maybe even try YOU TUBE, good luck.

I've changed mine on a 97 GC a couple of times..15mm wrench and 15mm 3/8 socket/wrench from underneath...It's easier to find the nut after you reach up and feel it and get your bearings the nut than see it.. Tricky...but not impossible Pull the belt shield off first.

I did mine a couple weeks ago from the bottom with swivel and long extention.
Not a fun job.
