Hi,

I have a 98 pontiac transport with currently 189 000 KM. My dad said the car is not accelerating when you give it hard throttle.

CEL was on so i scanned:

P0300
P0102
P0101
P0131

Car felt like a clogged cat too. LIke just no power watsoever. I just got done replacing the CAT the oem w/ a aftermarket as i though tit was this as i had a similar issue on another car.

Still driving like crap and throwing same codes except the p0131 now.......

Plugs/Wires hopefully get done tomm and the mechanic guy said change the ignition coil.......

Anyone HAVE ANYTIPS?

Did you take a look at or try cleaning the MAF sensor?

the maf is that round thing in the middle of intake tube right?

Is their a specific way to clean it?

ie with brake cleaner etc? is their a specific can i can buy aat local auto parts stores??


EDIT.......did some sreading....bought some CRC SENSORKLEEN.........cleaned the MAF it was FILTHY...............car is accelerating like normal and can get the wheels to spin/burnout from a dead stop.........but it still sounds like its not running right......bought some e3 diamond spark plugs and will get a tune up........

Get some info on the codes, the rear bank plugs are a pia.
