Hi,

The passenger side window of my Camry is not working. I pulled off the panel, and it looks like the previous owner unplugged the switch. The motor seems to work fine, and the pulleys and wire seem to move alright, it just seems like the window is not attached.

Well. I found the problem. The plastic piece that is on the mettle plate that attaches directly to the window is broken. This is the plastic piece that the little nob on the cable is attached to.

So the new question is do I need to replace the whole bar, or can I just replace that mettle plate. Also, would it be practical/possible to just cannibalize one of the parts from the rear doors?
