93 Blazer Wipers stopped working

The windshield wipers worked intermitantly, then wouldn't shut off at all, then stopped working all together. Someone said they thought it was the board. My question is, what is he talking about? what is the actual name of the part and is this something I could look for used?

It is integrated with the wiper motor and is a typical failure for these trucks. I wouldn't recommend getting a used one since you'd likely face the same failure. Good luck!

the part number from GM is 12463090 and list's for $65.64
but i would got to any auto parts store and buy the one from Dorman part #906-136 i'm sure is cheaper.
