My daughter had some shop lower her car. I see blue coil springs there now. I know I need stock equipt to get it back up but what exactly do I need? I called two different dismantlers and they wanted $150 for all four. Are there any videos out there I could watch. Would someone tell me am I just going to remove one coil and put a stock one in its place or is it a coil with a strutt attached? Do I need anyone special tools? I have worked on cars all my life but never done this before. Can someone help?

There ara a couple of things that you should get sure about.

What parts where exactly changed in yours doughter cars. Was it only the springs or the spring strut assembly. Was there any changes in the steering components.

After all of that clears out you should get oem specs parts. If they only chenged the spring then you'll need to replace the springs.

Yes you need special tool to remove the spring. You need a ''spring compressor'' got to your local autozone the'll rent you one. After that regular tools should be enough.

Also you may also want to buy a haynes repair manual. I beleave that autozone sells them too.

Hope this helps
