2001 Lesabre parking light fuse blowing

The fuse for the passenger side parking lights (includes front and back) keeps blowing. Any ideas on where to start on this one? The good news is the brake lights and turn signals still work but it's a little annoying. Had the transmission rebuilt last week. Fuse blew 2nd day we got the car back. Not saying there is a connection but thought it might be worth mentioning. On my third fuse in a day.
- Call it luck or a smile on me from the big guy above, (I like to think the latter) but I found the problem at my first attempt at tracking it down.
It was the front turn signal socket. (I suspected it might have been the culprit) My plan was to take out all the bulbs, front and back, and with the car running replace bulbs one at a time to at least narrow down a particular circut. The only bummer here is that it's a dealer item for $30. I may change out to a more standard type socket but at least I know I'm not going to be spend hours looking for the issue...

Check the lens housings for water.
