I had to take my 2003 Jeep GC Limited to a mechanic and found several wires had melted which was causing short. After that was fixed, the error code P0135 (O2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1 malfunction) came up even though the sensor was replaced twice. The mechanic said that the Jeep might have a bad PCM and need a new one. Does it really need a new PCM or does the PCM need to be reflashed? For the price, Im hoping that reflashing will fix the error code issue.
